Crisp Morning at Smith Rock

With a design that was made up of mostly shadows, I was able to allow the limited pops of sunlit reflections to really make a statement. Smith Rock (in central Oregon) is area that's as much fun to hike as it is to paint, and it's a favorite destination for me. (It's also rock climber's paradise, but my sense of adventure stops there!)
