This is a plein air to studio painting of the Tide Pool at Montero Del Oro natural park in San Luis Opisbo which is in central California. It is 20” x 40” and is entitled “Illuminant Tide Pools”. The late afternoon sun and how it illuminated everything along with the dancing sparkles on the water, was a moment of sublime beauty and wonder that I wanted to capture. Its brings back so many good memories of wading in the magical tide pools looking for the seas treasure with my children as they grew up along the California coast.
